Many of our customers enjoy including their dogs on outings, which is why we’ve introduced options such as bespoke dog gates and dog cages. These features reflect our commitment to safety, quality, and durability. We recognise the need for these enhancements and have dedicated ourselves to thinking outside the traditional horsebox design.
Our research findings
Having designed our horse areas with superb strength for accident conditions, we are very familiar with impact force equations. Did you know that at 50 km/h, an unrestrained 20 kg dog could be thrown with a force equivalent to nine grown men? This understanding of impact forces has informed our approach to overall vehicle safety. When it comes to transporting horses, we realised that standard horsebox designs often fall short when also accommodating your smaller four-legged canine companions. This insight led us to develop bespoke stainless steel dog gate and cage solutions. These prioritise the same standards that we insist on for the entire horsebox.

Each KPH dog gate and dog cage is meticulously crafted to meet the specific needs of your pets and your horsebox layout. It all starts with a chat in the office to get a good grasp of your specific requirements. We consider factors such as ease of use, dog size, weight, and temperament to create solutions that are not just functional but are tailored to your pets’ individual requirements.
The use of stainless steel in our gate and cage solutions is a deliberate choice. This material offers unparalleled durability and resistance to corrosion, ensuring that our products withstand the test of time and the rigours of frequent travel. Ongoing research
By continuously striving to exceed industry standards we are pushing the boundaries with innovative horsebox designs.
We are currently researching options for tack lockers that also double as dog cages and have further development efforts aimed at mitigating unwanted sounds and vibration. Our goal being a quieter experience for both horses, dogs, and driver, again significantly enhancing comfort within our horseboxes.
Our multi-use Aeos Discovery 45 and 72 models exemplify this commitment, functioning as both horseboxes and motorhomes. These models often have bespoke dog gates and cages, ensuring versatility and safety for all travellers.
Safety
Whilst prioritising the safety and comfort of your horses and dogs, we ensure that your entire animal family can travel in style, comfort, and security. Safety is our ultimate goal, and our dog gates feature smooth edges and secure locking mechanisms to prevent any potential injuries. They can be half or the full size of the opening. Our dog cages are ventilated to ensure proper air circulation and can incorporate additional features such as waterproof bases with drains for easy cleaning. We can manufacture waterproof beds and padding for extra comfort. Our innovative approach has garnered praise from equestrians and dog owners alike.
